Kayla Malek, RYT® 200
Kayla leads an active lifestyle with a mini-farm and garden, lots of fur-babies, hiking, dancing, and everything in between! To her, yoga is a compliment to that lifestyle and she brings that into her teaching style. She’s a huge fan of flowy, warming motions, followed by deep stretch poses that aid in muscle recovery and joint mobility. Her goal is to create a better quality of life for herself and her students and to celebrate those small goals! Kayla has a diverse teaching background that includes chair-to-mat, power flows, Vinyasa, and Yin. She is certified to teach prenatal yoga and has learned movement-based anatomy to understand better how the body reacts to movement! Her initial training stemmed from Ganesha's Yoga & Wellness and she trained in prenatal from Devi Ma Yoga. She brings her faith into her practice as she believes that movement and our bodies are gifts that should never be taken for granted; She keeps her classes open so that all students may explore their own beliefs, mantras, and spirituality. Yoga is for everyone and she loves being a part of that unity!
