Fun With Your Core - Included in Membership

Saturday, February 8th at 10:00 a.m.

A strong core is the foundation of nearly every movement we make, helping to improve balance, stability, and posture in everyday activities like walking, bending, and lifting. It also supports the spine, reduces the risk of injury, and enhances overall functional strength for a healthier, more active life.

Class begins with a seated meditation connecting with the breath. A series of short focused flows will follow specific to each part of the core: sides, back, and center. The class will end with a core flow incorporating all the smaller flows. Then a set of counter poses for core release—lastly, a rest with feet up the wall.

Myofascial Release - Included in Membership

Sunday, February 9th at 1:00 pm

Experience the deeply therapeutic benefits of myofascial release in this specialized class led by Lisa. Using two therapy balls, you’ll apply gentle, sustained pressure to specific trigger points, helping to release restrictions in the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles. This technique enhances mobility, reduces pain, and promotes relaxation by improving circulation and breaking up adhesions that cause tension and stiffness. Expect guided techniques that empower you to tune into your body's needs, relieve tightness, and restore balance. Bring your therapy balls or purchase a set at the studio and prepare for a session that leaves you feeling more open, flexible, and refreshed. Your body will thank you!

Hands-on Adjustments Workshop - $25

Saturday, March 8th at 10:00 am

Hands-on adjustments can be a powerful tool in a yoga teacher’s toolkit, offering students greater support, stability, and deepened awareness in their practice. When applied with skill and sensitivity, adjustments can help students find better alignment, release tension, and experience poses in a new way. However, many teachers feel nervous about offering physical assists—unsure of how much pressure to apply, where to place their hands, or how to approach students with confidence and care.

This workshop is designed to help yoga teachers and aspiring instructors develop the art of hands-on adjustments in a safe, supportive, and experiential setting. Together, we’ll explore the purpose of adjustments, proper techniques for common poses, and how to use touch as a tool for guidance rather than correction. Just like any aspect of teaching, hands-on assists are a skill we cultivate over time, and this workshop will provide the space to practice, ask questions, and build confidence.

Whether you're brand new to offering adjustments or looking to refine your technique, this workshop will give you the tools to approach hands-on assists with clarity, intention, and respect for your students' unique needs. Open to certified yoga teachers and those interested in teaching yoga, this is a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of safe and effective adjustments while practicing in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
